"Poultry in Motion "  was completed in 2011. This contemporary work is an original. The artist David Myers talks about his painting - " The painting was originally painted to capture the feel of free flowing movement within a confined space and the coloured twine was subsequently added to juxtapose chaos within the space. No brushmarks can be seen as the entire piece was painted with toothpicks - a technique I taught myself. The painting took me approximately 40 hours to complete. It is done using acrylic, enamel and mixed media on a solid canvas. The painting is unique and original and is not a copy." - The painting is bright full of colour and extremely interesting - it has the desired effect of uplifting a room - giving an empty room - lounge or bedroom a feeling of upliftment, colour and fullness.This painting is signed by the artist David Myers, its height is 75cm and its width is 150cm.
